Herbalife Discount & Marketing Plan


Herbalife's business plan involves retailing of products, recruitment of distributors and retaining customers and downline distributors. As a distributor, you are encouraged to purchase the products at substantial wholesale discounted price for personal consumption. There is no obligation to sell the products nor hit any sales quota. Using the products and getting results is usually how many customers turn into active distributors. That's where the following marketing plan make sense to you. Retail, Recruit, Retain Distributor Retail Discount/Profit Scale:
  1. Starts with 25% wholesale discount when you purchase products as a new distributor member, resell the products at full retail price and earn 25% profit! Herbalife's policy do not permit distributors to compete in a price war - this means your retail profit is protected in the market!
     
  2. Next, accumulate a minimum of 500 Volume Points (VP) within one calendar month to qualify as a Senior Consultant for 35% discount beyond 500VP. The VP can be combined from several orders within the month. Note that VP expires at the end of the month. Be sure to keep track of your purchases - we help you keep records at the member's area after login. Alternatively, simply purchase in a single order 500 VP to qualify 35% discount immediately. The 35% discount level is permanent, as long as you remain the Herbalife distributorship.
     
  3. Thirdly, once you accumulate 2,000 VP in one month, you are eligible to place all orders, during the remainder of that Volume Month, at a 42% discount. If you do not qualify for a 42% or higher discount in the following month, you fall back to the 35% discount.
     
  4. To maintain 42% discount level for one year, you need to accumulate a total of 2,500 VP in THREE (3) consecutive months, e.g. 500VP in Feb + 1000VP in Mar + 1000VP in April. This qualifies you to be a Qualified Producer, which earns a 42% discount all year round (1st Feb to 31st Jan) as long as you re-qualify annually. You are then also eligible to earn 7% or 17% overriding commissions on all your downline orders.
     
  5. To get the maximum 50% wholesale discount, qualify as Supervisor. Accumulate a total of 5,000 VP within 12 months OR 2,500 VP in two (2) consecutive months OR purchase 4,000VP in a single order. You keep this 50% discount as long as you re-qualify the Supervisor requirement each year between February 1 and January 31.
As a Qualified Producer or a Supervisor, you must re-qualify your status annually between February 1 and January 31 to maintain your rights and privileges. If you are unable to requalify each year by January 31, you will revert back to Senior Consultant at a 35% discount.

The Herbalife's Marketing Plan

Grow your business by taking advantage of new opportunities in the Marketing Plan that took effect in 2014.
  1. Associates can use up to 1,500 Downline Volume Points toward qualification for Qualified Producer. Accumulate 2,500 Volume Points in one to three consecutive Volume Months to qualify for Qualified Producer. You may use up to 1,500 Downline Volume Points toward this qualification, enjoy a 42% discount and qualify to potentially earn between 7% and 17% Wholesale Profit on downline orders all year.

  2. Associates can use up to 2,000 Downline Volume Points toward qualification for Supervisor, using the 4K qualification method. Accumulate 4,000 Volume Points within three to 12 consecutive Volume Months to receive all the privileges of a Fully Qualified Supervisor, including a 50% discount for the year. You may use up to 2,000 Downline Volume Points toward this qualification.
  As a Qualified Producer or a Supervisor, you must requalify your status annually between February 1 and January 31, to maintain your rights and privileges. You must also keep your Annual Administration Fee current. If you are unable to requalify each year by January 31, you will revert back to Senior Consultant at a 35% discount.

  3. Downline Volume is automatically calculated by the computer system toward the following Senior Consultant qualifications:
Senior Consultant with a 35% discount – Become a Senior Consultant by achieving 500 Volume Points or more in a month, this may include Downline Volume, and enjoy a 35% discount. Once you've qualified as Senior Consultant, you will never go back to the 25% discount as long as you keep your Annual Administration Fee current.
Senior Consultant with a 42% discount for the rest of the month – You can also use Downline Volume toward the accumulated 2,000 Volume Points within one month qualification. Once qualified, you may enjoy a 42% discount for the rest of the month.

  4. Supervisors may now also requalify by accumulating 4000 unencumbered Total Volume Points over two consecutive months with atleast 1000 unencumbered Volume Points Associates requalifying as Supervisors using this method (between February 1 and January 31) will retain all their Supervisor privileges as well as their downline Supervisor lineages.

  5. Supervisors who do not meet any of the requirements for Supervisor requalification can requalify as Qualified Producers with a 42% discount if they meet the requalification requirements for Qualified Producer. If you do not achieve the requalification requirements for either Supervisor or Qualified Producer, you will return to the Senior Consultant level with a 35% discount.

How to jump start your diet: 10 tips you need to know..

A diet jump start may help you to see some results fairly quickly, which means it may motivate you to step up your weight loss efforts and stick with your plan. At the same time, if you do want to jump start your diet, it's important to do it the right way. 
There are a few things you can do to safely give your diet a kick start for a couple of weeks. Try these 10 tips to fast-track your diet.

10 Tips to Jump Start Your Diet For Two Weeks
1.       Commit to your plan in writing.
Write down all the reasons and motivations you have for losing weight and getting into shape, and post your list someplace where you'll see it every day.
2.       Plan out all your meals and snacks.
When you write out a detailed meal plan, it helps to firm up your commitment - you can consider your own personal likes and dislikes, and really "own it". You can also use your menus to create a detailed shopping list and plan for preparing your meals for a few days at a time.
3.       Get rid of foods that aren't on your meal plan.
Once you've decided what you're going to be eating, it's important to get rid of all the things that might tempt you.  Go through your freezer, refrigerator and cupboards, and clear out any foods that aren't on your plan.
4.       Eat five times a day. 
Plan to have three meals and two small snacks, and plan to eat every 3-4 hours.  It makes it easier to eat smaller portions at meals and snacks when you know you'll be eating every few hours. 
5.       Eat all your meals at home. 
Eating out is convenient, but you'll have much more control if you can prepare everything at home for a couple of weeks. When you assume full responsibility for what you eat, it's a lot easier to keep track of your calories.
6.       Replace two meals a day with a meal replacement.

7.       Eat the same menu every day. 
Some people find that it helps to eat the same menu every day for a couple of weeks.  Plan out what you'll eat, how much, and calculate the calories so you'll know exactly what you're taking in every day. 
8.       Eat more vegetables than fruits, eat more fruits than starches. 
For just two weeks, aim to get most of your carbohydrates from veggies and salads.  Keep your fruit intake to just one or two servings per day, and skip the starches.  Vegetables have the fewest calories per bite, but they're filling and nutritious, so load up on salads and cooked vegetables.  Have your fruit as a snack or add it to your protein shakes.
9.       Start lunch and dinner with a salad. 
When you start your lunch and dinner meals with a lightly dressed salad, you'll start to fill up without consuming a lot of calories.  Vegetables take up a lot of space in your stomach, so having your salad first can help you control the portion size of your entrée. And, eating in courses also helps you to slow your pace, too.
10.       Start every meal with a glass of water.
A glass of water won't necessarily fill you up very much - or for very long - but many people find that it does help.  And, since many people don't drink as much fluid as they should, starting each meal with a glass of water may help to establish this healthy habit.
