What Is a Nutrition Club?
Nutrition Clubs are social gatherings bringing people together who become members wishing to focus on good nutrition and regular exercise in order to achieve optimum health.
As a Herbalife Independent Distributor you may consider operating a Nutrition Club. How you choose to operate your Nutrition Club is up to you. As long as you follow Herbalife's Rules of Conduct and Distributor Policies you can infuse your own taste and personality into your Nutrition Club.
Nutrition Club Benefits
- Convenience - You can operate a Nutrition Club from a non-residential location or a residential location. (Check the Nutrition Club rules for acceptable locations.)
- Community Experience - Your Nutrition Club members and guests can familiarize themselves with Herbalife products in a social atmosphere, allowing you to create and foster the personal relationship that is the essence of direct selling.
- A Natural Setting - Nutrition Clubs are an informal environment in which members can talk about the products, sample complimentary Herbal Aloe, Shakes and teas and the business opportunity.
- Retailing Opportunity - Nutrition Club members and guests may purchase products for personal consumption.
- Flexibility - Nutrition Clubs can be adopted with other business methods you are using.
Getting Started
Setting up a Nutrition Club is easy. Just follow these simple steps to get started and you’ll have your Club up and running in no time.
Suggested Steps to Get Started:
- Read and familiarize yourself with the Nutrition Club Rules.
- Visit existing Nutrition Clubs. Not all Nutrition Clubs are the same. Experience them firsthand. Contact your Herbalife Sponsor or your local Sales Strategy and Support Team to find a location near you.
- If Nutrition Club trainings are taking place, you may want to attend. You may receive great information and also meet other Nutrition Club Operators.
- ubmit your Nutrition Club name for review. A Primary Operator for a non-residential Nutrition Club may submit their proposed Club name to Herbalife for review to avoid any premature expenditure.
- Notify Herbalife about your Nutrition Club.
- Begin sharing the message of a healthy, active life and the benefits of Herbalife's products with your Nutrition Club members and guests.

Distributors operating Nutrition Clubs from non-residential locations need to submit a Notification Form to Herbalife prior to the official date of their Nutrition Club's opening in countries where a notification is required
Distributors operating Nutrition Clubs from residential locations are encouraged to submit a Notification Form as well.

This notification process will allow Herbalife to review your proposed Club name, signage, window and door covering ideas, prior to your Nutrition Club's opening and help avoid premature expenditures that may not be compliant with Herbalife's Nutrition Club Rules.

These Rules will help you to maintain and keep an organized Nutrition Club.
Nutrition Club Rules apply to all Nutrition Club Operators. It is important that as an Independent Distributor, you become familiar with the Nutrition Club Rules. In addition to the Nutrition Club Rules, Distributors are also required to comply with all of Herbalife’s Rules of Conduct and Distributor Policies that Herbalife has published, or may publish in the future

1. The Nutrition Club Advisory and Advisory for Nutrition Club Operator (provided in the Nutrition Club Rules) must be displayed inside the Club.

2. Nutrition Clubs are not retail stores, agencies or restaurants. A Nutrition Club may have a sign identifying itself, but it must meet the standards as described in the Nutrition Club Rules, which include specifications regarding:
- Design and content
- Size
- Services and product
- Use of names and terminology.
3. Because Nutrition Clubs are not retail stores or food establishments, posting of pricing is inconsistent with the Nutrition Club model and not allowed. Club Operators may post a list of flavors of complimentary shakes and tea samples.
4. A daily, weekly or monthly membership fee may be charged to cover operational premise-related costs, such as rent and utilities but may not represent the cost of Herbalife ® products or services.
Setting Up Your Nutrition Club
Follow these suggested tips to help your Nutrition Club run smoothly.
Of course, every Nutrition Club is different, so develop you plan. Make sure you are adhering to the Nutrition Club Rules of Conduct and Distributor Policies and get started.

1. Club Operator and additional Operator responsibilities
For non-residential locations, only one Distributor is responsible for submitting a Nutrition Club Notification Form to Herbalife. This Distributor is considered the Primary Nutrition Club Operator. Additional Club Operators may be listed on the Notification Form. A Notification Form is required for every non-residential Nutrition Club location.
Nutrition Club Operators monitor the day to day operation of the Nutrition Club. They ensure it is a comfortable and clean environment. Operators may assign certain tasks within the day or week to specific Nutrition Club Operators. For example, assign the responsibility to greet guests and members, collect membership fees, guide members to a seat and take member’s shake flavor requests. Product preparation is also needed to blend and serve the beverages, ensure that the kitchen is sanitary and hygienic, and that the product servings are accurate measurements.

2. Product preparation
Products served at a Nutrition Club may include the Herbal Aloe Concentrate Drink, Herbal Concentrate Tea and Formula 1 Nutritional Shake Mix. But the choice of products is always up to the Distributors, ultimately. Prepare shakes according to instructions on the label. Prior to taking requests, ask members if they are lactose intolerant (to avoid serving dairy products) or have other food allergies. Click here for various shake recipes.
3. Supplies
Have enough blenders to prepare complimentary beverages for members and guests. Ensure you have enough Herbalife® products and all supplies such as non-branded disposable cups on hand to serve members and guests. In addition to having enough Herbalife® products, always use purified (or boiled) water in preparing the complimentary beverages.
4. Suggestions for Designing your Space
Provide a comfortable and welcoming environment. Some Nutrition Clubs play music. Make use of the Herbalife posters, products and educational materials to provide insightful health and nutrition information to your guests and members. It should be a fun and welcoming environment for you and your members and guests. Remember the interior of your Nutrition Club must not be visible from the outside.
5. Greeting your Guests
Greet Nutrition Club members and guests with a smile. While waiting for their complimentary Herbalife® shake, tea or Herbal Aloe, it is a wonderful opportunity to talk about the benefits of Herbalife® products.
6. Club Activities
Provided that the required disclaimers are used, share your own Herbalife testimonial and ask your members and guests to share their product result stories. Recognize members and guests who have met weight loss or nutrition goals. Introduce members to Herbalife's products and business opportunity. Whatever activities you offer in your Nutrition Club, be sure to make it fun, simple, magical and duplicatable!
